It is a simple way of saying “Menu Integration” but is broader than just menus- or F&I software for that matter. PEN connects a Dealer’s selling software to a Provider’s System to enable eRating and eContracting, making the Dealer experience easier and more accurate. The Dealer does not have to re-key data between systems and they can also eliminate the need to maintain DMS Forms.
Dealers are always supported by their software vendor. The functions supported by PEN are embedded in the dealership software. As PEN works behind the scenes, the Dealer should not even know who we are. If a Dealer needs to be setup, get training or support, they should always contact their software vendor. Most situations are resolved on the first call, but if the issue is upstream, the software vendor will escalate through PEN. An Agent or their Dealers should not have to find technical support on their own.
While PEN is not known to the Dealer, we are here to direct assist Providers and Agents. In most cases, you just need some assistance to help your Dealer get on the right track. We can help you help your Dealer.
PEN serves our participating Provider customers. We do not have any setup fees or charges direct with the Dealer. Providers handle technology expenses in a wide variety of ways and Agents should contact their Product Provider partners to understand their specific situation.
The Agency or Agent should not be the first line of technical support to a Dealer, but sometimes they are (intentionally or otherwise). PEN can help Agents better coordinate the use of Integrated eContracting. Dealers CAN choose their favorite system and still maintain the benefits of eContracting. PEN is happy to offer our assistance to Agencies through learning materials, webinars and even customized guides to support the field team. PEN can help Agents, help their Dealers.
